You say the stock pump puts out 4.5 gpm? What application do i need to look up to find that pump? P-pump correct? Build is sick

Brett,

I guess I should clarify what stock pump I am using. The stock pump on a Dodge Cummins outfit will not have that much flow. I am using a stock hydraulic only pump from an industrial truck like a fedex truck. Those trucks have hydro assist. It was a proven platform without a cooler. And as much in city driving as they do, I didnt feel the need to redesign the wheel so to say.

If you need help finding one, I have a friend who is a Cummins auth dealer and usually keeps a few around, just pm me of you need.

Well this year took a huge turn from what I had planned. I moved to Colorado back in June. The truck is still in Tennessee. Ill go back for it in the spring. Going from a house to apartment, starting a new job, and getting engaged has been interesting.

I got about 200 road miles on it and a light wheeling session on my mountain property before I left. I already bought a full hydro unit from PSC (2.75x9 DE Ram). Its not on just couldn't resist.

Observations from driving.....

1. Fueling takes about 45 minutes because of the attention she draws.
2. It got 18 MPG on the highway (granted a 35 mile ride.....was curious).
3. lugging the truck in 4th and watching the boost gage hit 50 something will break the rear tires while driving.
4. I can get 6 MPG while having fun with it. I suspect I can get lower with some tuning.
5. You can run over a 4" sappling pine and not hear or feel it

I'm guessing you left out the part where the NOS fogger kit lifted the head from the block. Those small details shouldn't be left out.

This beast is sweet! I am planning on buying an M715. I was tossing around the idea of throwing in a diesel. I might just yank a newish 5.7L Hemi from one of the newer(2002-2008) Dodge Rams. It is just a thought right now. No Jeep to get measurements in yet.
