Hi, yeah... sent one right away but the board may not have gotten it to you so emails still work best but here you go:

Cheapest way.... As long as you rig uses an aluminum booster block at the firewall.... Is to get a '95 Astro van HB that has the spade shape brake rod end with the 5/8" hole and bush it down to 7/16" the get a $25 1" steel spacer from me so it gives it the correct rod length and bolt it up. Replace the studs in the HB mounting plate with 1 1/2" 3/8-24 bolts.
Thanks,
Elliott

I don't have any used ones for sale, just doing new stuff but if you happen to get one with the round end and 1/2" hole by mistake you just have to drill it to 9/16 before you bush it down to 7/16 so it's not a huge deal.

You can paypal $25 to me at sterlingworth16 at yahoo dot com and I will weld up the spacer for you when you are ready. It's bare so it will need to be etched/primed/painted.

Couldn't find your message for what ever reason so please folks, don't try and message through the forum, just email me at sterlingworth16 at yahoo dot com

Thanks,
Elliott

Bump, new stuff listed on ebay....

For whatever reason... I can't edit the first page of this thread but you can open any of the links at ebay and check out my current listings like this new one for the new custom hydroboost sockets: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Custom-Hydro...item43c6447204

Those sockets work really sweet as you don't have to remove the rod end or clevis end to fit the socket over the rod and these will fit any hydroboost mounts out there that I know of.

Also, check out the 90* master cylinder rotator/adapter I designed for tight fit situations where you clock the hydroboost for more engine clearance or want to fit a different master cylinder. This will work on any hydroboost made: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Hydroboost-9...item43c93e772e

Thanks folks!

Need a system

Hey Elliott,
I live in Fort Worth so it's nice to see a fellow Texan on here. I am new to the FSJ world but love my 84GW. I am wanting to install a hydroboost system and wanted to reach out to you for what a system would cost me? I tried to PM you but your mailbox was full. Man in demand!

Thanks,
Robbie

Heya, I'm around. Just took a break to move and try and get a new shop built. Haven't broken ground on the shop but it should start soon. Please hold your requests for the time being and I will probably be moving most of my listings to www.custompowerbrake.com so when you see that site revised for a sales point then you know at what level I'm back to work at getting these out to you.

Don't figure I'm just sleeping in the meantime I have some new stuff coming out, some is ready already and some is waiting to be tested. There is nothing else like what I'm going to offer anywhere in the market so for the hardcore crowd.... you will like it My hydraulic consultant is so confident in the design he wants me to patent it so.... will see how it goes on my truck and then letcha know.

The shop is built and I've been back at it. Pretty busy cranking out different versions of hydroboost applications so I don't have a lot of time to be answering questions on Tech that you can find the answers to here on this thread.

For probably the best hose kit for the cost get with PSC Motorsports. #HK2040 will cover rigs that are '80+ and if your's is earlier then you want another hose kit where you can add two of the SAE flare AN fittings and two of the metric o-ring fittings.

Yes, I can still sell you a 1" welded steel spacer for using an astro van hydroboost. $30 shipped and it's unpainted.

I'm not stocking/selling bushings for the rod ends since the last time I asked Purvis they wanted me to buy 100..... you can probably find them on ebay. The HB from the '95-95 Van with ABS had a spade shaped rod end with a 5/8" hole that you can bush straight to 7/16". Earlier Astro units or those in '94-95 without ABS had a round shape rod end with a 1/2" hole and you will need to drill/ream that up to 9/16" before you can bush it down to 1/2". There may be some nylon bushings, like off a ZJ that might work and save you the trouble but you will need to look around and see what you can come up with.

If you want a new hydroboost from me that's a direct bolt in they are currently $446. shipped. Add $200 if you want me to supply a hose kit but I prefer not to mess with them when you can get them cheaper at PSC

'81+ FSJ will need an MC that fits the hydroboost, the '93 C3500 with DRW fits that bill but you can go aftermarket too.

1 1/8" - 1 1/4" bore will be your best bet in most situations. If you run the latest largest dual piston axles/brakes then get year specific (to your axles) MC from a chevy truck that had hydroboost.

To contact me send an email through here, not a PM. You can also reach me through www.custompowerbrake.com

Thanks all
