    Just a little progress:
New hangers and longer 74-91 front springs are installed.

That extra 3" really flexes a lot more that the stock 44" springs ever did, enough that I am going to try to install a front sway bar for the highway driving this still sees.

Front bumper needs 4-6 more hours if I can squeeze it in this week before the Flagstaff wedding trip.

After looking at all the nice ones in 'Cruces the last two years my goal has been to keep it small and tight.

It was Thanksgiving weekend last year that Em and I drug the D60 home, finally got to installing parts.
Looks like I'll need a tie rod 2" longer, a new drag link, make new spring/sway bar plates, caliper rebuild kits and hope my brake lines fit.
I think they will since I already drilled the fitting out for the larger calipers last time around.

        Front drive shaft in.

Well, I got the drive shaft in on Thursday, but didn't have a chance until tonight to install it.

This is my old shaft, after the lift.

        This is my new shaft.

Finally a 4 wheel drive again after 2 years.

I'll be getting the rear tires on Tuesday. I had to hack away part of the exhaust because it was interfering with the drive shaft, so I hope to get that repaired on Wednesday and then get the vehicle inspected. Hopefully I'll be driving it around by Friday, can't wait.

          Great work....

Well changed my oil filter housing, changed the oil, have oil pressure again...better anyway when hot. Adjusted my Ox locker cable.....quit working a month or so ago, do not understand why maybe it has been hit too many times by rocks. And made a skid plate/guard thingy for it. So all in all the wag will be there!

just my thoughts from personal experience. i have a tj that has an ox locker in the front, and an arb in the rear. i had problems with my cable also; it was really aggravating to be out wheeling and not having the front end engage. so i bought the air actuator kit from ox for their locker. i have only been out wheeling in it once since i redid everything, but i love it. i ordered a matching switch for my arb and mounted them both in the console.

                  Made some progress:

Tires, drive shaft, mirror's, changed the oil, fuel filter and had the electric fuel pump run out the 2 year old gas, about 8 gallons worth. Just a few loose ends to tie up, and I'll be driving it around town.
