Yawn...
Yet another announcement saying 2018 now.
Only thing it's going to share with a real Grand Wagoneer is the name.
Probably be based on a euro platform?
"The upcoming Grand Wagoneer will allow Jeep to duke it out with the Germans in the luxury SUV segment. With a full-sized three-row seat layout, the Grand Wagoneer will take aim at the Mercedes-Benz GL-Class and upcoming Audi Q9 and BMW X7, with a launch date sometime in 2018. Speaking to UK mag Auto Express at the Geneva Motor Show, Jeep CEO Mike Manley said a European release for the mammoth SUV was a certainty but made no mention of a RHD version.
The ?Grand Wagoneer? ? the project?s internal nickname at Jeep ? will also sell in North America with a pricetag in excess of US$45,000."Tony

It's been 2018, since the last update. From FCA, themselves:

I'm not saying that I'm not intrigued by the thought of a new Grand Wagoneer but it is going to be related to ours in name only. Maybe somebody will sell some woodgrain kits that we can stick on them..................1989 Jeep Grand Wagoneer

Kind of a quick aside; They've been playing with SJ nose for a while, with the nuKizer, and J12 concepts; well, this year, it seems they're playing with the rear end.. Here's a teaser for this years' Moab event:
It seems to be a Commando style 4-door with the SJ rear end.. on a JKU, it seems. O.o

You mean the one in my signature that I made? I am that same suzq044 that does some of the Allpar renderings.
The green one is an unfinished model of the second one. I have several different trims posted on here somewhere, too. *shrug*
I have been informed, however, that it will not have the Rhino-style grille, btw.
