    71 Wag Buick 350 radiator ??

    Hello everyone,

I am about to pick up a 71 wag that has the Buick 350 in it and it needs a new radiator. Would this beast use the same radiator as newer say 80's models wags with the AMC 360? Also how about the fan blade? The idiot I am getting it from used a chevy 350 water pump but did not change out the fan mounting studs to hold the fan strong so it came lose and went through the radiator. Anyhow, your thoughts on this are appreciated.

they aren't the same rad. Also, the angle on the lower part is different between the two.

One other thought, Would a radiator from any buick vehicle with the buick 350 be the same as the one in the wag or was it specifically made for the jeep?

The amc radiator can be made to work especially if you have the old buick one. Just take the "new " amc one and buick one to any decent rad shop and have them put the buick hose outlets on the amc unit and then remove, patch over the amc outlets. I had this done ten years (or more ) ago. Shop charged about $15.00 on top of new radiator to do the swap. Still worked until steering box dented lower tank on rad now needs repair. Now are you sure its a buick in the rig? No way a chevy water pump will bolt on a buick engine.
