Stupid question: E2000 pump, which side is the inlet?

Just got my pump and it is not labeled inlet or outlet, no arrow either. Looking at pictures on google I don't get a good idea either.

Is the inlet the side with threaded end and the outlet the side with the electrical connectors?

In EFI pumps generally it is the outlet side that has the wiring connections.

on both of my pumps there was a small brass screen on the inlet side....course you could put a piece of tubing on one end and jury rig it to a battery to tell which is in/out?
