Gutting the doors isn't too tough but finding a paint shop?! That's a task! Good luck with that! Nerve wracking decision, right there!

Talking Been collecting parts...

Hi yall!

Slow progress is better than none. Since the strip down I've been purchasing parts little by little. Pictures coming soon.

Currently I'm mocking up the new axles to the BJ's lift kit and my frame. Trying to figure out the angle for drive line connections. I replaced the QuadraTrac with a Dana 20. Novak rebuilt my TH400 and supplied the transfer case. Dana 44's were rebuilt by EmWest in Eugene, OR. I picked them up yesterday!

Now your pics are little! hahaha! Bigger than thumbnail, smaller then normal.

Is that your shop where the Chassis is sitting?

I know Well, guess my next best would be to start paying for hosting.

Pay for music service; pay for extra cloud storage; pay for picture hosting; pay for this; pay for that... I realize it's not much but when you add all the little extras for so many services it does. Seems like there should be a better way. Remember when you could buy a tape player and play a cassette, even CD's? There were no services. How much do you pay for a computer, a macbook? Those things handle pictures pretty well yet ya can't share unless you pay, pay, pay...

It is my shop in Bakersfield. I moved the Jeep from Paso Robles since my house is listed.

6" lift obstruction

Anyone run into a clearance issue with a leaf spring during suspension lift?

To weld or not to weld bracket?

Searching for a diagram of that bracket and not having much luck. Factory manual only shows fuel parts and not brackets. I think the bolt head the leaf spring is hitting is for a fuel tank bracket. Planning to weld the bracket in place and remove the bolt so the leaf will clear. Any thoughts?

I think that is what I would do, too. How annoying that those rub like that.
