    My first Jeep

Picked up this project a couple of weeks ago.
86 GW. No rust, no wrecks, everything works.
Was planning on just paint and interior. 5 days later, the engine caught fire.
My project immediately got much bigger.

You went from to in five days. That sucks, but welcome anyway. You got yourself a very nice Jeep.

That could be a good thing. Yes it sucks at first but focus on getting it running, finding out why it burned, and fix it so it will never happen again... You will know the underside of you hood like no one else and you will never be stranded again because YOU will be the one fixing it (if it ever breaks down again).

Nice. I wish I could say "everything works" on mine. My dash is apart now prepping for paint and instrument lighting problems. Welcome, and please share your repairs as you go.
