Dash and Interior Lights - LEDs?

I've searched a number of places about the dash lights but not much out there in the way of answers.
What are the part numbers for the lights in the dash and other interior lights? I want to replace some of the lights but don't know where to go.
The only place I have found to carry the dash lights is TeamGrandWagoneer (TGW). BJ's and Z&M do not list dash or interior lights. All of the bulbs listed on TGW add up to about $30 which is not bad but I'm always looking for cheaper sources.
Just out of curiosity, has anyone replaced their bulbs with LEDs? I know there would be some additional wiring required due to the diode requirement but it would be long lasting and possibly brighter with varied colors.

per the 84 GW owners manual:

gauge cluster = 158

heater controls = 1815

ash tray & RW defrost= 1445

shift selector on column = 1892

glove box = 1891

courtesy lights = 89

dome light= 561

dome/reading light = 211 & 105

Not sure what the difference is between dome and dome/reading light???

So... if I walk into Auto Zone and tell them I need these numbers of bulbs will they know what I am saying or will I get the "What you talkin' 'bout Willis?" look and comment?
Hate to bother but, is there a number for the bulb in the 2WD/4WD vacuum switch below and right of the steering column?

No bother, sorry I left that one off. It's a #57

Ask for those bulbs and they either have them or they don't.

If they don't have one, they may be able to cross-reference another bulb that will work.

Owner's Manual

Where do I get this "magic" manual.

To date people have quoted the following from this magic book to me:
1. Transfer case shifting procedures
2. Bulb type and numbers
3. Bolts sizes with thread pitch

I want/NEED one so that I stop asking these trivial questions...

Best thing you can get is a TSM(technical service manual)

bjsoffroad.com has them:

http://www.bjsoffroad.com/cartgenie/...sp?category=31

Looks like they have owners manuals too

for those light numbers, you can walk over to the light rack and those numbers are listed on the tops of all the light packages in bold lettering.

I replaced the overhead and under dash lights (not the instrument lights) from this outfit last winter. http://www.superbrightleds.com/festoon.html
The base is the standard incandescent bulb base, so there's no wiring. They worked great and I don't worry about the battery drain anymore. You'll need to get the ones with lots of LED's or they'll be too dim.

Someone once posted pics of how they put in these LED modules that were around 1x2" or so. They weren't drop-in replacements, I think they attaced either by screws or double-sided tape.

They put one each under the dash in the foot wells, I think 2-3 along each side of the back near the ceiling (Waggy), and I think 1-2 overhead up front like reading lights. It looked really great and clean and the night pics lit that think up like daylight inside. It was really neat and I'd love to do it w/ my '20 but I don't recall who/when it was. It might even have been on the general FSJ forum and not here in Tech.

I don't recall for sure but seams like he got them at Lowe's or something?
