Seatbelts!

were seatbelts an option in 67' or did all gladiators have them? mine dosent have any so i was curious if i need to buy some or not. if it dosent have em from the factory law says i dont need em.

The law shouldn't even be an issue in deciding this. Some good aftermarket seatbelts will cost about $25 at a parts store. Your life and personal safey is priceless. It's not that you're a terrible driver, the roads are getting more and more crowded with idiots.

The first thing I did when I got my '64 was buy seatbelts. The threaded mounts were already in the floor and my '67 had factory seatbelts.

To answer your question, '68 was the federal cutoff year, IIRC, but I found it best to check your state's seatbelt laws.

Starring 1 January 1964,all passinger vehicles had to have seat belts

sorry to hijack but i will agree seat belts are a must i was in a accident last monday and my seat belt is the only reason im still here today even though my seat belt is the reason i have a broke bone and cuts and bruises on my chest it still saved my life

well im not sayin i wasnt gonna get any. i deffinatley want them for off-road situations. which is what this truck is gonna be for. i was just curious as i didnt want to drive it even around the neighborhood for tuning if i had to have them. trucks not goin anywhere for a while so its all good
