    2011 Jeep Plans

So 2011 is here on us and Im curious what everyones plans are for the year, what are your plans for your rig? Mine are to install the 1 ton axles, re-gear and a locker up front, install my newly built roof rack and light bar and build new bumpers. Its going to take a little bit but it shouldnt be to bad. So what are your plans?

After the let down by the 77 in 2010, I'm going to revive the 67 waggy. Swap in the buckets, center console, rear seat, 3/4 ton axles, 39.5" iroks and anything else worth saving from the 77. Move the springs under the frame in the rear, weld up the Dana 60, twin stick the 20, and if money allows, a Spartan locker for the front. It's gonna be a busy year, but when it's all said and done, the C.A.R.B. Nazis can kiss my ***.

New xmember, skid plate and rockers should do it for me.

Depending on time....very least is swap in a rebuilt or lower mileage 360. Then its 208 swap time. Luckily I have the motor and 2 208s, correct length drive shaft...ducks are all in a row...time just seems to slip away!

well as far as the projects go...
I just talked about the exploration project in that thread..LOL
the 68 cj5 has a new rebuild engine and tranny... not just have to put them in and paint it... its all stock except roll cage.
my wifes Waggy is getting new springs and 30" tires.
my j10 is still undergoing lift and d60.
I also have the yj build on the go... its just a little rock nad tree smasher that I play with,, also used as yard truck to push junk around.
it has 4.5" lift.33's 305 shev engine and auto tranny... no top ( sometimes cold around this time of year) eazy to get in and out of...
JEEP Why did they make so many??? I just don't have the time to buy them all...LOL

Major projects for 2011 are as follows:

                              1. Build and install custom rear bumper with swing out tire carrier.
                              2. Possible Aussie locker in either front or rear axle (not sure which one yet.
                              Any suggestions)
                              3. Convert headlights to H-4 and run lights off relays.
                              4. replace sending unit
                              5. anything else that pops up repair wise.

This year will be limited a little due to an upcoming deployment.....again.
