Try washing them with about half a liter Coke cola in the wash water that is how mom used to get my work clothes clean

Ha ha, actually wearing shorts and sandals as we speak and will no doubt be firing up the welder at some point today. I think screwing around in the shop in sandals has actually been good for the curse word industry, as I have invented quite a few new ones because of it.

I'll give it a try..washed em a few times since with tons of Borax and Tide Coldwater (we dont use hotwater for the washer) and the stain hasn't budged..

Lol it's funny when you make the decision of wearing a 'good' pair of jeans out to work on the jeep..then they become 'no holds barred gana wipe grease on em' jeans..

Cascade (from the kitchen) works wonders too.

Safety glasses are a must!

Come to think of it, I only own/wear work clothes too.

I have good-work clothes and work-work clothes. While I'm often converting from good-work to work-work the opposite never occurs.

Remind me not to wander into your backyard accidentally.

I don't think I would survive wearing sandels. Most of my pants pull double duty between shop work & going out. Put a pair on about two months ago to go to church and the wife says "Your NOT wearing those. They have a hole in them." I reply " Why not, their my holy pants". ....................I changed pants.

I work in shorts and stuff all the time in summer.

Or nice cloths in the winter... Then they are ruined.

No welder yet so I have managed to avoid hurting myself... other than the usual cuts and stuff obviously... My dome light cover has blood on it... LOL (I tried taking it off and broke it cutting my hand... Super glue worked wonders at putting the two pieces together... You can't even tells its been broken except fro the bloodstain.
