Questions on a BJ's offroad 6 in lift kit

When I install a6in lift will I need to buy anything else or is the lift package complete to make a successful lift. Will my stock drive shaft or Steering need to be extended?

I didn't have to adjust driveshaft or steering when I did mine. You will have to put new u-joints in it as the driveshafts will be operating at different angles. The kit has everything you need, unless you order it without shocks. I was very satisfied with the 6" kit I had. When I build another FSJ I'll buy another.

our full kits include the u-bolts. If you order springs separately and u-bolts separately, we'll determine the right size u-bolts based on the year / model rig you have.

                  ah, agreed

U-joints can be standard Spicer replacements from any Napa auto parts store. Stock is 1310 series.

Why wouldn't original u-joints be fine? Yeah, if they're almost shot they'll go away quickly, but if they're not new but intact they'll have some more good miles on 'em. I'd just buy a set and have 'em in the toolbox. They oughta be in there anyway.

you don't have to replace them when you install our lifts (as in, it isn't required).

Why would you need to replace the u-joints unless they are worn out? They will wear slighly faster due to the increased angle, but they don't need replaced as part of the lift.
