Question

I just dropped my 84 GW off at the body shop. I stripped it of all glass, rubbers, carpet, seats, and anything else that might hinder a perfect paint job. Upon removing the carpet, I discovered that it is pretty much worthless (rotten) and the driver's seat has the traditional "lean" from what I assume to be a broken upright. Since the truck is going from beige to bright "Viper Red", I may as well change these components while they are out.

1. Where is the best "bang for buck" carpet?
2. Can I use any bucket seats as long as I make them work with the powered bases the original ones were on?
3. I find that JC Whitney has similar replacement rubbers - is there a better source?

Thanks,

Greg

Greg,

I see new carpet sets on Ebay all the time for about $170. They make them any color on order. Look for wagoneer and you'll find it.
