I have decided to avoid anything Chinese if possible. Sometimes there isn't any other option, but there's no way I would buy a Chinese made radiator. Just like I would never buy Chinese pistons, a Chines quadratrac chain, or Chinese timing gears.

For Christmas I wanted to purchase a nice necklace for my wife. All the jewelry was Chinese made. I was sure to tell the jeweler that I would never ever buy Chinese jewelry. I got the impression that I wasn't the first to tell them.

I bought one of these the neck sits to high and hits the hood. If you go to the lower or higher mounting holes (depends on how you look at it) it hits the steering box.

Thank you guys for your input.
I live in Belgium. Only new available radiator that I found in europe is 799 $!
A local company can repair mine, but they can't tell how much it will cost and how long repair will take.
150$ for a new alu radiator delivered at my door suddenly is tempting...

Many folks run the chinese ebay radiators w/o problems.
For the $ I'd give one a go especially given your location/options.

              I'm with Cliff.
I've been through 3 or 4 radiators. Fit issues, solder seams fail, inlet position angle not the same. The only repop that has been decent is the one I bought from BJ's Off Road. It's actually held up for several years now.

The best will be the original with a new core if the tanks are in OK condition. OK = no pinholes or soft spots. Cores are are expensive. Figure 3 to 400 US dollars. But that is where the cost is.

The (Chinese?) aluminum radiator I bought on eBay for my J20 did not fit. It was expensive to send it back (ca $40), but they took it back.

The plastic and aluminum replacement radiator I bought from RockAuto fit perfectly and works great.

Not many places that re-core radiators today. Most "radiator shops" only remove and replace, selling the commodity radiators. Predict replacing the core will be significantly more than a replacement radiator.

I'm running an eBay 3 row aluminum.

                    Con's
                    Overflow in the wrong spot
                    Poor threading of the holes
Overflow nipple was damaged (The outlet nipple for the overflow had damaged threads, contacted seller and he sent me 5 new ones.)

I also swapped over to Dexcool at the same time after completely flushing everything. I live in Michigan so I've ran this rad through 100

Yeah and its easily addressed. I replaced the whole rubber hose assembly with some fuel line, much cleaner and simpler.
