Golden Eagle Wheel paint

I found the Ditzler code on the internet that's supposed to be for 77-79 Golden Eagle Jeep wheels. code 23681.

Does anyone know if this is correct? or have a code they know matches?

If I remember right there's that code on the 76-80 data book.
If you don't have it I'll check for you this weekend and let you know if what you have is the correct one.

I took the codes from the AMC chart to the paint shop and they couldn't find anything.

It looks like I'll have to take an original wheel in and try to match the color where it was protected under the center cap.

The code you have is not the correct one.

The correct code is Dietzler 23674

23681 is the code for the gold striping.

Any more progress with this? I wouldn't mind getting some rattle cans mixed up.

None of the codes are valid anymore.

I took an original wheel in and had them match the original paint under the cap where it wasn't faded. it's close but not great, I'm going to have them add more gold.

If I ever get it right and I end up with a mix I'll let you know.
