ok i worked out a ROUGH inventory..

        RB kit: $176 (riverbeast)
        Shocks: $200 (performance offroad)
        Brakelines: $110 (BJ's)
        Lengthened driveshafts: $150 (local shop)
        Ubolts: $50
        Perches: $36 (mountainoffroad.com
        4" DPA: $40 (performance offroad)
        various shipping and bs: $80
        the total: $842

what am i missin, i know theres something

        if i go with
        rancho 44044 (2"): $270 (summit)
        various rear springs (2"): $200
        total:$470

im thinking instead of spending $1312 straight up, ill make 2" a project for next year, along with an axle swap.the problems i could run into waiting though are having to RE-lengthen shafts, and maybe longer shocks..

he probably should use MORE perches. They have one significant advantage over something like that: they're substantially longer, so they help fight axle wrap.

you have to re-radius the one that goes onto the pumpkin, but yea, either should work.

If you use those I would add a plate in front and back of the perch in the gap to reinforce them. I have heard of them collapsing.

Yup that?s what your probable looking at. I spent 1500 on my SOA (granted I had a high angle d-shaft made and went w/ revolvers front and rear.) but it all adds up. Go to 4wheel parts and get some procomp shocks (the were having a buy 3 get one free sale) they?re like 30 bux a pop. And work fine for anything less then desert running. Also get your brake lines made at a speed shop or something. They can usually reuse your old fittings and all you have to pay for is the braided line. I did my own for like 30 bux.
If it aint broke, fix it 'till it is.

Those perches are 3" diameter and 1/4" thick.... I have them on my 14FF and work GREAT, just need a little relieving for the larger tubes on the 14FF
