Window wipes Q

I need new wipes all around. Looking at the wipes on BJs, have you guys bought the oem or aftermarket? Any advice appreciated.

You get what you pay for.

When in doubt go OEM, IMO.

One gotcha I had was that as you roll up the windows with new wipes, the window rail is too thick to fit between the wipes and so you can't roll it up all the way. I'm still mucking about this issue, haven't found a really adequate solution.

I bought the bj's aftermarket and haven't had one problem with them. They have been on for about a year now.

I bought AM

A little more delicate harder to put on I broke one had to buy another set but then I got it on it's been OK.

I had a friend last spring buy the OEMs. I think they used that term loosely they weren'y that much better. They were a little more flexible. With paitence on the install & think the results are the same. Time will be the determinung factor. My AM's are ok. The vent window seal are a different story though.

If you can't make it better why waste your time. No use repeating the orignal mistakes. I'm to old to push it that's why.

i just put my aftermarket ones ive had for about a year now on the truck, not a single problem with them. good quality and dont leave too much fuzzy stuff on the paint when you put them on.

Running after market here also, just be careful not to put too much pressure on the clips when installing them.

Thumbs up After Market re-pro's

Got some from BJ and some from Team Grand and they all went in nicely and easily. I also broke or bent a clip on the rear window, but she's good to go.

IMO the OEM is not worth the extra dough unless you are super faithful on your resto and money is no object.
