Novak Gen III motor mounts

ok so i am trying to install these in my '73 j4000. problem is that the bolt holes dont line up with the holes on the frame. there are six holes in each mount, i can only get two per mount to line up. the instructions are not very good when it comes on how to mount these? i am guessing that the longer mount is the driverside, they are marked passenger and driver with marker, but they could be wrong? so how are these supost to mount in this application. should i just use the two bolts and weld the rest, i will weld them no mater how many bolts.

Sounds like they may be backwards? Pre '79 are a different kit from post '80

A pic would be nice...but when I put Novak mounts on mine I used two bolts, then welded the edges to the frame, then rosette-welded the holes to the frame. They're not coming off easily!

On the website it says. They fit all years. The look just like the direction. Just the bolt holes dont line up. I think i will just use the two bolts and weld them.

Be we worth the quick call to Novak if you haven't yet. They're really good to work with generally.
