Grill swap- "square to round lights added"

When I put the round lights in my Muscle I just moved the tabs on the buckets to match the location of the tabs on the square buckets.

6 of 1 half a dozen of the other - either way works

I think your efforts were way worth it. How much of a hassle was the conversion? I have an 87 GW I would like to do the same thing to. ANy key tips?

Its an easy swap. You'll have to cut the tabs off the valance so the grill will set right. Get some counter sink self tapping screws to mount the bottom and your all set.

For the actual grill mounting, think you could just drill out the spot welds on the old razor style valence and rivet them onto the new square headlight valence.. I have a razor, but the valence was so rusted out I picked up a new one from a square headlight setup and the lower part doesn't mount.. I think this was touched on in a previous post I just want to make sure I understand completely..

I put a '77 Razor onto an '88 valance with no problems. I hacked the tabs off and just made holes with the screws. It was not on a truck at the time, but it all went together with out any issues. I did not use the center hole, but did not feel I needed it.
