    Vortec 5.3->4L60e-> Electric shifting Transfer-case

I'm planning my upgrade for my 90 Grand Wagoneer (light off-roading lots of snow too). I'm planning a 5.3 Vortec with the 4L60e trans but I want a transfer case that I can eliminate the Vacuum switch for shifting. I don't want a manual lever and prefer the electric shifting like in the NP243c/NP246c. Will those work ?

Here is my summary of the trade-offs and it seems that the best option is to keep my NP229. But please let me know if I am wrong below....

    Keep NP229
4L60e to NP adapter needed - Novak adapter 500 $500+
Need Novak spline upgrade from 23 to 27
    Need VSS adapter for 4L60e
    Keep Gauges
    Keep Stock speedo
    Keep Vacuum shift, Ugg

    NP241c - mechanical (example ‘89 suburban)
NO 4L60e to NP adapter needed
    No spline change needed
    Need VSS adapter for 4L60e
    Keep Stock speedo
    Keep Gauges
Need to add mechanical shifter, Ugg

    NP241c - Electric (example 90-91 suburban)
NO 4L60e to NP adapter needed
    No spline change needed
    No VSS adapter needed
Upgrade gauges to electronic such as Dakota gauges - $750
Is there an electric shifter like those in NP243 and NP246 ?

    NP243c/NP246c
NO 4L60e to NP adapter needed
    No spline change needed
    No VSS adapter needed
Upgrade gauges to electronic such as Dakota gauges - $750
    Has electric shifter
Will it work with my Grand Wagoneer ?

All you would need is the transfer case wiring/switch from a donor.
No real reason imho to keep the np229.
