** Parts found **. Wanted: Sanden brackets and door lock part

** Parts found **

For an '88 GW:

1. Do you have the rod inside of the rear passenger door that connects the door locking mechanism? It goes the horizontal length of the door.

2. Mounting brackets for the compressor to go from York to Sanden? (I believe later '88s switched to Sanden)

Thanks!

Where are you in Texas? There's an '89 that I'm sure will have both in a local pick-and-pull yard here in Austin.

Thanks for the head's up. I live in Dallas (updated my profile.)

If I am down that way in the next week or so, I will ask you the location of the P&P.

The switch to Sanden was in 89. I had to track down the Sanden bracket to fix my 89 AC. If you already have the York bracket, they do sell a bracket to adapt it to the Sanden. That is the simplest and least expensive approach to shifting to the Sanden compressor. If not, you can add a Sanden bracket from an 89-91 GW but you need to know that it also requires a different mounting bracket for the alternator. Also, the Sanden bracket is hard to find and can be expensive.
