I have finally got past the point of no return!!
It is turning out really good, but VERY time consuming!!! Its alot fo tedious work and cut- measure-cut and repeat... but its gonna be worth it in the end...
Here is the prepwork...
The primary cut....
This is where I had to really take my time... the waggie 'flared molding' that normally sits just to the rear of the door had to be replaced with the W/T portion without the flared molding look... this is the W/T piece I used to recreate the panel and W/T mold to fit on RB
After I got the lower section done with the W/T panel and notched the lower corner of the door, I flanged the body panel to accept the flare...
Here is the flare held in by clamps for a test fit... I am taking a break right now... been at it since 6am... 11 hours straight... I have to weld all the panels and tack in the flare afterwards.. then seal the wheelwell up....
NOW QUIT BUGGIN ME!!!! j/k
