    wagoneer wont crank

    Hello Guys
I have a 79 wagoneer that wont crank when turning the key. The lights come one but thats it. I recently swapped out the ignition switch, solenoid and ignition control module to see if any of this would fix it but had no luck. Im able to get it to crank from the two connections on the solenoid but thats it.
    Any suggestions?
    Thank you

I'd get the wiring diagram here: http://oljeep.com/gw/elec/GW_wiring.html and start tracing the wiring to see where the signal's getting lost.
    Sic friatur crustulum

'84 GW with Nissan SD33T, early Chev NV4500, 300, narrowed Ford reverse 44, narrowed Ford 60, SOA/reversed shackle in fornt, lowered mount/flipped shackle in rear.

Did you install the new ignition switch correctly( pull the plastic pin before install?) and not get it aligned correctly?

          check NSS @ base column

also need to realize "new" electrical parts roll of dice these days.
just because it's "new" means little.

new starter solenoids are especially problematic

Inside the cab at the base of the steering column. The switch closes when the gear selector is in Park or Neutral (only). It passes power to the solenoid.

Does the ignition switch at the base of the steering column need to be adjusted so the rod fully engages the switch? It has about 1/4" adjustment
