Howell EFI Installer and Service in SE North Carolina

Hello all, I have tried, I have had 2 reputable garages still no luck getting the Howell EFI installed optimally. Anyone know of any mechanics in the SE North Carolina, Raleigh, or South Carolina area that have experience?

Install is straightforward/simple, if it's not running correctly can be either install, or faulty parts/system.
Some folks have had problems with Howell system.

Define "installed optimally"...

What is the problem/issue?

I put mine in about a month ago. Took about two weeks to run all lines, wires etc. Carefully double check vacuum lines etc. Put in several calls to Howell and they were very helpful. Printed directions weren't perfect but it started right up.Text Troy of Howell 313-319-5137 as he is very knowledgable and generally responds on weekends. What problems are you having?

Post your questions. I did a Howell install in my 89 Wagoneer and it wasn't bad at all. You just need to do one thing at a time. I just put a MSD 6AL on mine and literally wired in a tach filter today. I'll do my best to help you.
