I removed rivet and top cap then I loosened up two screws on side of tailgate then I used needle nose pliers and pulled side channel guide out like 10 inches - I did have to use screwdriver to get piece (where screw goes) to clear - now it appears the lower piece is hitting something as I pull upward - any ideas how
