Inline tube ss prebent kit

Finished installing Inline tube ss brake line kit today in 1990 gw. Removed all 4 Bleeder valves and cleaned and arp fastener lubed what a mess . Gravity bleed all old black fluid out and replaced with dot 3 fluid . This brake line kit is top of the line with rock guard installation is a breeze . Very good quality .AAAAA . I have the same high quality kit in my 1982 Cherokee.

I bought TWO Inline tube kits for my Wagoneers.
One is the stainless kit for the restomod, and the other is just a OEM type kit for the Chuchua Waggy.
Both are really really nice.
I originally bought a stainless kit from the beloved ""preferred"" FSJ vendor. They listed ""ONE SIZE FITS ALL"" on their website.
Well let me tell you.........................

They DO NOT FIT ALL WAGONEER's!
PERIOD!

This vendor will tell you that they have installed them on LOTS of FSJ's, while that maybe true I bet they did not fit right.
They even tell you to buy a tubing bender, and massage them in to place.
If I wanted to do that, I would have made my own!

Anyway..............................
I called Inline tube direct (this so called vendor uses them too), and they had me send in my old lines to perfectly match the bends.
They also told me that NO!
There were changes over the years to the lines, and to insure proper fit to cut the old ones apart, and use a sharpie to indicate the right orientation of the lines and send them in to ILT.

You will pay a few more dollars if you go direct, but will save you a bunch of really bad grief in the long run.
Not to mention the lines will be PERFECT that way.

Yeah I can't say enough good things about Inline Tube.

3rd party

What ever I buy I go direct to manufacturer no 3rd party people to get rejects or parts that do not fit. Sorry to here you had problems but stay away from the middle man.....

I have actually had a slightly different experience with inline tube. Their fit was perfect and everything lined up but I could not get a couple of the lines to seal (ss lines are notorious for being harder to seal up). Most of my issues were at the proportioning valve and I ended up having to buy a new one because the lines gulled up the fitting.

I ended up using these little copper conical washers and they sealed everything up nicely was just a little bit of a pain. I think this has to do more with stainless steel then inline tubes. Just something to think about when going stainless. Seems like others have not had my problems though.

Inline tube is local to me. They did a great job reproducing the sample tubing and parking brake cables I provided that came off my J20.
