    78 j10 dash lighting

I have owned my 78 J10 for more than 25 years. I am getting ready to install a custom instrument panel with the plate from BJ's. I was going through my tech manual writing down wires for various lights and gauges to start constructing a harness on the new gauges. It showed there being lights for the heater controls. I have never seen any lights there when I had the panel out in the past. If there is can anyone verify this for me with theirs and maybe show me a picture with the dash lights on?

Yep, they're there. Two of them. They're on their own wires (orange, I think). They're probably burnt out, are loose in the holes making for a bad ground, or the sockets are worn out causing the bulb to have a poor connection. Mine had all three problems but I got them working again.

Wow!! Thanks for sharing I'd pulled it out years ago saw no wires or bulbs. The new set up will look great when it's done. Thanks for sharing a photo.
