What do you guys think of these oil filter sandwich thingies?

I was digging through my pile-o-parts and found this. Should I use it to install a small oil cooler? Any opinions on these?

You can, just know that will me mean more chances at leaks in the oiling system but other than that not a bad thing to do in your location.

You are going to clean it up first right!

Yeah. I cleaned it all up and stuck it back on the shelf. When I get my engine running again, if I feel like I need it, I will crack it out and install it. If I have plenty of pressure and my oil is not hot, then I'll sell it.

I dunno. I think they are kind of sketchy but that is me.

Waste of time. A solution to a non existant problem and more places for oil leaks.
