I want to install Suburban rear gas tank

I know everyone says that that are doing it and I want to as well.

How do you put a suburban rear gas tank into an 82 wagoneer. Is a body lift required? Do you use the suburan sending unit and is that compatible with the stock?

I tried searching but can't find any kind of write up or pictures.

Can anyone help?

Well what I did was cut the fill neck off a 25 gal blazer tank no fuel pump, re weld a 1 inch tube on the side (patched the hole of the fill neck I cut off), at the top, about the middle of the tank, made a skid plate out of 1/4 inch steel 29x29x 6 inches high, I got the tank from craigslist,it was a new one with sending unit,100.00 I got 2 sets of straps off ebay for 38.00. fab cross members out of 3 inch channel and 2 inch angle . I use straps to hold it to the skid plate bolt skid plate to cross member, and off you go, I know you want photos, there in the works. There is lots of room with a 25gal tank and you don't have to cut out your cross member

I did a shackle flip and mounted the springs under the frame, so I have lots of room, but it does not hang down more then stock tank did.

My tank is the last thing to go in, and I am all most there, I will post pictures when I do.
