What did you do to your FSJ today??

I know this is on some other Jeep forums but I did not see it here and thought it might be fun to start.

Today I changed my oil and filter(Valvoline max life). Fixed my driver side speaker wire. I also checked air pressure and aired up my tires. I also made the list of everything I want to fix. I think I have 14 lines of repair for now.

Gus got spoiled today. To start he got a full tank of gas. He also got Johnson's hand me down 33X12.5 BFG AT's. Johnson still has the Super Swampers. Gus looks funny with 33's and no lift, but they're on. Gus will get 4" of Johnson's lift sometime in the next few months.

Well where do i start? i had fun with the oil dipstick tube. 1st time ever. ended up dropping the pan and thank goodness i did, excess rtv inside the pan breaking off and on the pick up screen. i got the tube done after some sanding and freezing and put the pan back up twice since the gasket pushed out. i also re shimmed a door and adjusted the guide sleeves on the tail gate. replaced a head light switch( had to tear the dash apart) and a rear window switch. i also re-installed the rear carpet walls and rails. it all has to come back out as i plan to redo all the carpet soon. then i got some decorative crap as the wife calls it and put a reciver hitch cover, inflation valve caps, wheel knob, door lock stems, liscense plate frame, and transfer case shifter knob. i also fixed the factory fog lights but could not get the original switch to work.

i thought about pulling the tranny for a new clutch pack that it needs but decided to wait till the money flow is better and i have a good book.

i also attempted to decode mt axles with no results and all the information puts me to belive that i ahve a 60 rear and 44 front.

inbetween all of that i got called into work and had some family time in the rig and went out to run over some toyota treehugging prius's.hahaha

I warmed up old blue and took him for a ride around town. Unfortunatley I'm working on my buddies vehicle in my garage so I didn't actually work on the GW today.

Installed a CD player in the Chero..

One of previous owners had already cut the radio opening some, so I got the old die grinder out and enlarged it to fit a DIN sized radio chassis. Just gotta clean up the mess and install couple speakers. Oh and the Cherokee bit me on the top of my head. Maybe it wasn't it's fault that the glove box door hinge was sticking out and I keranged my head on the nice sharp corner.. I guess if you bleed on it..it is truly yours...

I gave the go ahead to the repair shop to drop the gas tank and check to see if the sending unit is what is causing the GW to run like crap...
sadly, I am getting out of the FSJ business.............

Finished off my speaker panels, yet have not installed them yet. I went to the pick and pull yard and got an np242 but due to the fact that my head was killing me. (I didnt have time to play with the transfer case and see if I could get the old one out and install the new one) I also ordered up some more parts for my DIY fuel injection conversion.

Did rear axle bearings, realized I need to run a front track bar, realized I need another inch up front, found out I need a steering box, found a new vibration at 60, found out my wiper motor is slower than molasses, beat the dog for getting in the garbage, AGAIN.
