Intake Manifold tight end bolts.

Today I installed the valley pan gasket and tightened down the manifold.
After I managed to get all bolts hand tight I started to tighten from the middle and crossing over as I worked my way to the ends. Once I got to the end bolts which are into the block it was way to hard to screw 2 of them down. I was way over spec and stopped. Currently they sit a little proud and the washer spins freely.
Need another full turn. What to do? Leave them, tap holes, pull out the cheater bar and get it done? Thanks!

run a tap thru and try. or get shorter bolts. do not force them in you will crack something or break em off.

Did you verify length was correct on replacement bolts?
Agree with Ristow do NOT ever force bolts.

Total tunnel vision. Didn't even think about smaller bolt. I did think to maybe stack a couple washers? Anyway I picked up smaller bolt and should work thanks!

Also something I forgot to do. A guy should probably put anti seize on these bolt?
Also I've read about people putting a little rtv on the bolt to prevent fliuds from leaking. What do you think?

Thanks. HAve a nice weekend.
