Question GW has a hard time starting

So now that I have my waggy on the road, it has begun to have a hard time starting. It can be pumped twice when it is cold, it would turn over and run for a second, but that is it. After that, the carb is flooded out, and I have to use starting fluid to make it start and run. what could be the problem?

Are you sure its flooded. If it were flooded, I would think giving it more fuel in the form of ether would make it worse. Could your fuel pump be losing its prime? too much choke or not enough? are there any other symtoms...anything, smokes, chugs, misses, ticks, coughs, sputters?
