Steering box advice - j20 vs s10 vs CJ
Hey guys, I'm trying to fix my steering issue since it is "next in line". Since I removed the body and moved the motor back 12", alot of the weight has been removed from the front end. This is making the steering WAY too easy. Even with the 35" tires, at a complete standstill, I can turn the wheel all the way around with my pinky finger. When you are going 45mph, it's just downright scary.
So, I need to swap something to get this fixed. What does the J20 steering box upgrade actually do? If it makes the tires even easier to turn - that is not what I need.
Anybody know if a CJ box is smaller than an SJ box, and if they will bolt up?
Who here runs the S-10 box? I bought a steering brace from Tad, so I'm assuming using the 3 bolts instead of 4, but have the brace, would be OK. Has anyone had probelms braking the s-10 box?
