Cool. I see you have some stuff to finish still, and Krylon camo paint there too. Looks awesome, when will it be driving?

Looks like you've been very busy Brad. Great Job! Some day I'll get off this big grey thing and get back to work on mine.

Just absolutely BEAUTIFUL!

It obviously looks scramblerish, but with a little longer wheelbase and a better departure angle.

Most people won't recognize that it has the heart and soul of an FSJ.

Very nice creation. I would love to do something like that someday. If you dont mind me asking. How much did it end up costing? I mean minus the inital cost of your FSJ.

Yep, most CJ guys are gonna think he took a CJ-8 and put on a YJ front clip and are gonna yell and scream and cry about it.

Thanks for the compliements fellas, I can't friggin wait to drive it!!! As for time and money. It took about 6 months, working one Saturday every other weekend, and then about 1 hr each night (after the kids go to bed). Money is a whole other issue, it's hard to describe because so much of my stuff is used, I bought some of it in chunks, and some of it seperate. Let's put it this way - you'd have a hard time spending less than 2k, assuming you do all the work yourself. But that includes some of the niceties, like half doors, a top, etc.

Don't run out thinking that this is only 2k and a few months of spare time. He started with a fantastic chief with great running gear. I bet he spent alot more time researching stuff and tracking down parts. I saw it a couple of times while he was working on it. I assure you his reply above does not reflect the true about of time, money and energy he spent on it.
