STUPID SPAMBOTS!!

I logged on today and had a TON more replies to threads I am subscribed to, than normal. As I worked my way down the list, they were almost ALLlllll SPAM BOT replies.

Anyone else seeing these?

I haven't, but I only have 3 subscribed threads for stuff I hope to copy someday.

I don't subscribe to threads but do lurk a lot and yeah yesterday the spammers seemed to hit harder than normal. Sheesh they even posted in very old threads. It's a shame the "as seen on TV" tracking software isn't easily available for servers/forums so they could notify moms their punk kids are playing with mom's computer again.

Thanks. We take care of any that we come across, but it's difficult to hunt them all down.

OK, I know I am only sort of crazy but now I can't find ANY of the posts! I went through all my subscribed threads with a post in September and I don't see any of the spambot responses.

I'm not sure if you guys caught them all of if my level of crazy'ness is going up. Either way, there is nothing more to see here. carry on.

because when we see them we delete them.
the accounts also get banned or deleted depending on who's @ helm.

That's why I love it here. I've been on a lot of forums in my 40 years of life and this one is the most enjoyable; Great people, great projects, quickly deleted spam, etc. I have almost never seen folks flame spraying folks here. good times!
