Unhappy stalls in drive at idle...runs fine under load

this started tuesday evening...in the parking lot at home...idle went a little up/down in speed...then STALL....put in nuetral and started right up...parked it...drive to work today, when accelerating it is fine...when deacelarting it is fine...no stumble and stalling like when EGR valve goes bad,

stuff that has been done...EGR valve replaced 2.5 years ago...
fuel pump replaced 14 months ago....
carb rebuilt about 3 years ago....
fuel filter on it is about 3 years old....

when it is idling when you first start it...IE COLD and CHOKE ON..it is fine..once it starts to warm up then the above begins..starts right back up...choke opens when it is warmed up...

i have gotten in almost 4 accidents trying to get this JEEP home today....freaking fun stuff....NOT!!!!!!

So until i can get this issue resolved...i am driving my GMC truck...

powervalve is not leaking...

i have had fuel filters clog and then the vehicle just stops running and won't restart...i am going to swap that this up coming week...if i place the vehicle in nuetral at a light it did not stall...but something in drive seems to not make it like life....

need recommendations...it is not spark related...since it starts and runs...ditto for fuel....

Could your idle speed be set too low?

OK how is the solenoid adjusted? And when setting the idle do you guys do it in park or drive. Because mine sounds like its gonna take off in park but cuts off as soon as you put it in drive.
