inner axle shaft length ??s

Yesterday, I spent all day walking around junkyards, looking for a passenger drop WT D44 that I could take the left axle shafts out of. The only passenger drop I could find was under a gov't issue J20 with the 8-lug pattern. Unfortunately, that yard was closing so I didn't even get to ask about it. By the end of the day, I got impatient and pulled a shaft from a NT Waggy that was the same year and style. I figured the inner shaft would be too short but, I needed the outer stub shaft as well. Now, my question. Is the inner shaft out of that J20 the same length as the one I broke in my J10? They are both '77.
