I would make the drive down from Phoenix. Maybe someone would like to do a wheeling trip too?

I know Oct 15th is out for me, but whenever we can get the most people to show is fine.

EDIT:
Bob, I'll email the link to some of our local SOAZ members that don't get on here very often.

Bob,
I emailed 64travler, Irbob, fc101guy, mtn goat and Ole'Mud & Guts.
Mike and Mike, it would be great if you guys came down.
We need to get beloth on line for this also (sorry Robert, I spaced it).
Steve could easily head up a trail trip to Chivo again (I hope).
I figure I am passenger.
(J2K is still many months and several $K away from going anyplace, at that point, Wag will be sporting the welded 14-Bolt but probably still have mismatched D-27 up front).

Cool

Thanks for the email for this developing event. I have no idea what my schedule will be. I just took a 30 day school break and am starting to get into some of my core classes with UOP. I have 2 options if I'm able to make it; (1)Be a passenger (2) Drive my 99 Dakota 4x4. Boy that would make me stick out like a soure thumb, LOL. Stay great folks.

I'll probably tag along with Will E, unless I make a night of it and crash on the floor somewhere. (preferably not the cantina though). Oct 15 is also out for me. That is the weekend of Circus Mexicus in Rocky Point. (speaking of crashing on cantina floors).

Bob the 8 is good for me, just a opinion, why cant we see if we could have this at a park lets say reid at 22nd and country club, get a place where it is like a cul-de-sac so we wont have other people driving thru and lets have a bbq. i would help with the cooking and whatever needs to be done. I will just not start on the j-truck until the meet and greet. let me know.

I'm pretty open right now, although my schedule changes a lot. I will try to plan around if I can.

I would do the 8th of Oct. Tom can ride shot gun. I would really like to do the falls again, with any luck they will be running and I am still kicking myself in the behind that I didn't try the last 1/3 mile of the trail.

I figure we can camp somewhere.

I think what rstep and others have in mind is a meet and greet similar to what we did last year at "Los Dos" in Mesa. This would be a chance for all local FSJ'ers to sit down, shoot the breeze....
A trail ride would limit the gathering to just FSJ's that are off-road rigs and operational. I know I'd just like to meet up at a location, chow some grub, quaf some libations, meet my FSJ brothers, bs .....

yeah. i am cool with a BBQ or whatever. but some things going on job wise will be maybe making my FSJ a daily driver soon so i would not be willing to risk killing it on a trail somewhere.
just post where and when and i am there!

Bob i am going to talk to ron this weekend to see if he would drive the cherokee there, i will bring the j-truck.If he doesnt mama said that she would bring the cherokee, and if it is at reid park then she will go to the zoo for a bit then come back and shoot the breeze with us for a bit then bring the cherokee home. so it looks like i will have both the fsj there.

Looks like we have a good responce,is everyone good with the 8th of Oct.For this one the best show may come from a meet&greet as Tom said not all rigs are trail at the moment.Need a location for some pictures and that will allow layed back function all ideas welcome, bbq, eatery, whatever and time. Also I'm willing to supply bbq stuff(via the wife)
