I'm sure I'll be in the 6" zone by the time it's done. I was hoping to keep the rig lower but I just had to buy these "monster" 33's. Lol. I should have just stuck with the JK takes off's I had....(32x10x17)

Probably the first time in 10 years it's been to a gas station.

That looks like a picture of Liberty! I love it!

I vote for smaller tires vice taller lift. As much as I love big tires, I think your body style/Mags would look better with 31's.

Well, I have to get new springs made, might as well lift it a little more me thinks.
But I?ll probably still go smaller in tires. Time will tell. It?s off to Atlas Spring tomorrow morning.

Just posted this on the other thread but want to make sure it's here, too.

I went to bkilby's shop and checked this rig yesterday, runs FANTASTIC and it's ALOT of rig for $2k. If I had garage space open, it would be coming home with me.

Thanks rang. It is a lot of rig for the money. If I have to part it out, I might end up with rockers and a rear bumper for my rig. Lol. Did I tell you he bypassed the vacuum for the tcase? He has a cable shifter in there. And that big aux gas tank....

I'm really excited to see what you do for springs on this. I was searching for slightly longer rear springs for my 74 to no avail.

Well, I've used Atlas Spring in the past and if they do anything like the past, they'll be nice. I usually go for ride comfort and flex.

The rear should end up with the shackle inverted, no lift block, center pin in stock location and the rear half of the spring longer to make that inverted shackle point rearward.

The front should be fairly simple. Center pin in stock location or plus .5". Front half of spring a little longer for more angle of the shackle. We're using all factory style rubber bushings. I hope to see the rig back by Wednesday.

<Tap Tap Tap> Still waiting for my Jeep. I guess they had to order more steel for the springs and with the holidays being here and deliveries are slow, they won't have it done until next week. Bummer but I'd rather wait and see it done right than to have to take it back.

(preaching to the choir here but) Better done right than done on time. We have a saying at our work when our bosses start getting mad because our reports are late:
You want it bad, you get it bad.
I love throwing that quote at them. its funny because there is no satisfactory response other than "roger out".

Still waiting......I'll see the Jeep sometime next year. Lol.

Meanwhile, in my business, we're a dealer for MasterCraft Defense. This is the Defense side of MasterCraft Safety and their cool seats. I received a seat in today for a Govt order and had to snap a couple of pics. I wonder how they'd look in my Jeep.
