My guess is that's going to be kinda rough on your are and knuckles, kinda like real course sandpaper... let us know how that works out.

Been messin' with mine since New years day.
Pretty sure I will get them anodized into a gray.
The light reflection is pretty intense at times.
No problem with the roughness but they will need some more TEK screws across the middle to eliminate some vibrations.

That looks great. That's exactly what I was planning on doing but have since decided I'll use black UHMW plastic instead. I'll post up some pics once I get it done. You don't have to worry about corrosion from aluminum touching your steel screws or door frame and it's even more abrasion resistant. Plus, it's a tit-bit cheaper, too. It won't look quite as stunning, however.

One of the POs did mine but took it the step further and etched and painted them to match the camel interior. I've never scraped my knuckles on them. Get lots of wows and compliments (wish I could take credit).

Mine have some thin sytrofoam padded paper stuff on the back side that keeps them quiet.

Looks great and is probably cheaper than trying to restore aging vinyl/plastic door panels.

Thanks for the tips on the middle of the panels, and thanks for the compliments guys... Yes, I am still working on the rest of the panels all the way to the 'gate.

That's sharp. That's something I need to do to mine, the existing panels aren't really existing, so to speak.

Glad you mentioned painting them. I did those to my GW and it turned into a solar oven!
