2bbl carb adapter to Edelbrock performer?

I am confused - I am trying to find or order an adapter to put a MC2100 stock carb on a edelbrock performer manifold (trying to get smoother flow but retain some mileage, plus the carb was just rebuilt and runs great)

so I go to Summit and they have hundreds of adapters, all different patterns - square bore, spread bore, dominator, and holley 2 bbl, rochester 2 bbl, etc. I haven't found one yet that says Motorcraft 2100 to edelbrock performer manifold so can anyone tell me, what pattern does the edelbrock performer manifold have and what pattern is the 2100?

and if anyone has an adapter to sell that's cool too.

Thanks for help!

I have a 4bbl -> 2bbl adapter in the garage somewhere...used it for smog testing.

Performer is standard square bore pattern.

2100/2150 is ford/holley 2bbl pattern.

Thanks Tony
do you think this one would be appropriate..?

(Carburetor Adapter, Holley 2-Barrel to Quadrajet 4-Barrel, Each)

Some of the adapters are pretty expensive, this one is only $18

That one won't work on a performer...you don't want quadrajet bolt pattern/opening. You want holley squarebore.

Something like this....would probably accomplish what you're after.

Tony
that one is for a 4 bbl carb to 2 bbl manifold. Can I just switch it around upside down?

Jan I think we are trying to do the same thing.

thanks for taking the time to explain for me.

Yep, you swap it upside down..... Got a similar one from spectre #5772

http://www.jegs.com/i/Spectre/865/5772/10002/-1?CT=999
labelled as:
4bbl carb to 4 bolt 2bbl manifold or
4 bolt 2 bbl carb to 4 bbl manifold

Waiting for the cold to resolve.... not the weather but me.

Jan you can PM if you want to look at it....
