So are we making any progress

Just checking in, I am looking forward to our 3rd year at Cruces. Now that said, hopefully some are making plans, fixing their junk and coming out!

I hope mine will stay strong this year because I am gonna wheel it as much as I can in some places I have not been.

    Cannot wait.

so does this mean were going big this year?!? like Tabassco Twister,Rocotillo Rapids,Habanero falls, then saturday hit the big one patscuaros revenge??? actually you can run pats then habenero @the same time, since one is sorta an extension of the other

i noticed the other day i need new axle ujoints.loose in the left side!
might as well change em both

other than that i am going to bob too! just waiting for the wind to lay down.

I haven't done much of anything that I had planned, been trying to get out and enjoy the rig as much as I can while it's cool here.

Need to order up my ball joint and steering parts for the D60, then cut the front hangers off the rig and install new ones with the longer springs.
Probably going to do some mod's to the front area if time permits, some of those ideas depend on how far forward the D60 moves.

Go big, well I will try anything once, but I think my tires will have to go BIGGER. I may have a crew from my club coming....some of them are BIG.
Next year unless I screw something up this year I will stretch the rear and go with a 14bolt rear....but I just want to wheel it this year and enjoy it.

I'm only fixing what I have to fix. Not planning on any big mods this year. Maybe get some beadlocks but that is about it. So as far as going big... we'll have to see...

Wally is sitting in the back yard, right where I parked him the night we rolled in from Cruces. On Sunday, the snow was up to the hitch. He is on the back burner list until some other FSJ work is done around here. That's all I got...

No real news, got new tires some foty2's a month ago. But my rig has been busted since I got them. Hopefully by Cruces I can get new springs under there and maybe if Toyota keeps me busy a new transfercase . Anyone else make any progress?
