Carb and Vacuum Woes

    Either or both of those capped lines now that youve plugged them in could be bleeding off vacuum. The PV diaphram maybe bad and thats why it was capped. The PCV ball maybe stuck and was capped off. The PV go bad and most of use run a 8-9 for our old motors. The stalling and perfomance changes maybe related to you introducing a Vacuum leak by plugging in those devices.

      Wow this pretty much sounds like exactly what I need to do on my GW. I replaced the carb with a new one a few days ago and all the backfiring went away. It’s running super solid now but it will die at a red light or a sudden stop.

      Can you be more specific on what you used on the carb adjustment screws? I need to do this to mine

      Also was there a 3rd part to the timing video? I have a timing light but I have never done it before
