Just scanning the Net and stumbled across this site...a TON of cool pics on a restore job of a stepside J10...looks like they did it right.

Judging by the license plates, it seems to be in Belgium. That's a lot of FSJ's!

european states, for the most part, are running the majority of their homes on some sort of high speed internet. the US is WAY behind in that department. page loads fine for me, but i also drop 60 bucks a month for a ridiculously fast cable line

Yep, those are Daniel's rigs. He does some killer restorations on these rigs over in Belgium.

7mbps cable line, and still slow loading.

The presence of high speed internet doesn't negate bad webpage design.

Definitely some beautiful rigs though.

thanks guys. indeed a lot of work to build these up!

most these pictures come from the previous j10 we restored here in belgium. very nice jeep, 360, sportside, 6inch lift, etc... that must have been five years ago.

since then things have moved a lot; the j10 and chief are gone, we bought another 80 sportside with which we drove to the uwharrie fsj meeting two years ago before bringing it back to belgium. probably some of you guys remember. that was the best holiday ever! that car is now my daily driver (401, t176, 6 inch lift).

then we got the grd wag (360, 1990, 4inch lift, all original for the rest) it's still as nice as the very first day but with over 160.000 miles on the odo!

i'm currently busy on a new 1982 sportside j10 with many many goodies...
basically the concept behind this jeep is to get it even nicer than the first one. no major modifications, a collection of NOS parts including never used cb radio from 76', a strong rebuilt 401, 6 inches of lift, stainless steel remanufactured brakelines, all stainless steels bolts, nuts and screws... galvanized, then epoxy coated frame. basically a full treatement to keep rust away. this will be a show truck, should only come out for occasional events.

we'll redo the wood in the pickup box, remanufacture a stainless steel roll bar. i've got a new rear bumper waiting and plan on rechroming the front one.

new grilles, new headlights, new leather seats according to original scheme, etc... 37x12,5x15 goodyear wrangler's etc... stainless steel dual exhaust, etc...
basically everything you can do to a jeep (just making the original better) is being done to this vehicle...

here are some pictures of the current situation. i will post some more later on if you want!

thanks for all the nice comments. always nice to get appreciation of fellow jeeper's! most other people think that i'm crazy so... i guess i'm not the only crazy one around!

WOW! They look nicer than Wagonmasters, and they're actually rebuilt, not just reconditioned! VERY nice.

Dang those are nice. Glad to see they aren't just pretty on the surface and actually had some quality work put into the areas you'll never normally see.
