The M-715 came from the factory with a Borg-Warner T-98 transmission and a divorced NP200 transfer case. This means there was a short driveshaft between the transmission and transfer case.
I recall that Novak adapters sells an engine adapter for the M715 that adapts to any of the GM family of engines. https://www.novak-adapt.com/knowledg...ns/manual/t98/
Advance Adapters may have a product too.
I suspect this combo is worth about as much as the adapter would sell for, if you could find a buyer. https://www.novak-adapt.com/catalog/...n/gm/kit-c715/
I would try and sell the combination on the M715 zone or other sites that cater to Mil vehicles http://m715.com/vb/index.php
Not worth much to this group - none of the FSJs other than the M7xx militarys used this divorced combo, and it would be impractical for another vehicle, especially without the transfer case. The T-98 is functionally the same as a T-18, and considered the obsolete variant. Not really practical for any vehicle other than one that came with the T-98.
