the posts regarding Mdill made me think about others who have seemingly gone away, just in the few years I have been on here. Did they just move on to other stages in their lives, or ...? Not that anyone owes us an explanation or parting words. One that comes to mind is the guy out west, Montana or Idaho maybe. Had health issues but had friends who were coming and doing most if not all work on his heavily customized fsj. Last I remember, it was close to being done. Then nothing. I wonder about he and others. We are a community, but do our families know of it, or think to let us know like Mikes wife did? Just food for thought. For those who are no longer with us, I wish them smooth rides and no fluid leaks.

Yes, it would be nice to know what happens to our members. You now have me wondering about the member and his custom build. Also, did you ever own the jeep I bought July of 2014? For some reason I think someone on here told me that, but I could be wrong.

I still check in about once or twice a week. Just haven't had much time for the Jeep lately. I still take it out of the garage weekly and have big plans for it, though.

I still pop in for a look. A lot of the AZ folks joined another site so I tend to hang out there more.

Been awhile, but still kicking a little. The adult Cherk has been parked since 2008 and the child Cherk has become the ride of choice. Since the wife passed been kind of lost, but starting to get back on the legs a little and get busy again.......and get my self together.

                  Life does go on

This is & will always be my primary sight. Since the herd thinned & Dispersed. I do go to the other site but stay here. I kind of enjoy the way this one is now. Not much less if any traffic here than there. Even the bashers sneak through every once in a while. With that said I too wonder where & how everyone is. It's really good for them to drop by.

If you can't make it better why waste your time. No use repeating the orignal mistakes. I'm to old to push it that's why.

Interesting thread. Thinking back, I miss a couple members here. I have no need to contact or hear from them. I'm thinking Pete Peterson aka Crazy Jeepman in MI and grumpy old Gary Miller aka Obx Automotive in NC. If anyone knows or is still in touch with them, it'd be good to know they are OK.
                        Thanks.

I check in maybe monthly. I own my own buisness and I am clearing the land I bought last year to build myself a house and a garage. I have lots of irons in the fire usually. I currently have my J20 still have to hook up the plow wiring.Used it a lot in spring to haul loads of mulch and fire wood. I also Have my Restored 91 GW but it needs to have the steering column rebuilt, drove it a few times this year. Yes Life Goes on, it doesn't stop. I am hoping to have more time once the house and garage is built, Should be about 3 years.
