scents

Hmmm....

Right now, combo of....gas, oil, exhaust, with a slight acrid tinge of fried electrical. Plus dead headliner and old seat foam. Old Jeepster was kinda similar, think this is a factory installed scent package

Hopefully, after cleaning and sealing back up, the above will go away. Probably be replaced with sorta new upholstery smell...and old toolbox in the rear, maybe some Hoppe's #9, and a hint of Oz creosote. Should be a bit of an improvement!

The inside of my Jeep smells like a combination of new vinyl, vinyl treatment and carpet shampoo.

It smells a lot like some brands of leather treatment.

I love how arguements end as soon as Ristow comments. Ristow is right...again.

I assume that is what you are after.

That's hilarious!

Burnt oil on the exhaust is the proper prissy interior odor......since these things leaked like a sieve from the factory

a trip to the river generally results in a solid wet dog smell in mine for a few days. However right now I have a tinge of rodent droppings, and peanut butter (the peanut butter is in the traps btw - all mice have allergies to peanuts as long as it is served in a spring loaded device...)

If you can't make it better why waste your time. No use repeating the orignal mistakes. I'm to old to push it that's why.

No, OEM correct is a slight wet, rusty metal odor mixed with an electrical burnt insulation smell.

Regional odors were dealer installed:
PNW was heavy on the wet carpet/mossy/pine cone smell.
Desert SW was more of a sunburnt vinyl/popcorn fart/dryrot.
Northeast was heavy on the wet rusty/salt and road grime fragrance.
Gulf Coast had a waterlogged/rich exhaust odor.

Just to name a few.

I'll second the Hoppes #9, along with the odor of burnt powder.

West of the Cascades we get more fir than pine..........hemlock is nasty

A couple of bags of cedar chips under the seats smells pretty good.
