1972 Wagoneer Tapered or Flanged Rear Axles?

I'm looking at buying a 1972 Wagoneer and I'm wondering if that year would still use the tapered axle shafts/hubs for the rear Dana 44, or if it would have flanged axle shafts.

The wheels have hub caps on them so I couldn't see the end of the axles to check.

99% certain flanged.

The change was not associated with any specific year AFAIK, but I believe the flanged axles started appearing in the 68-69-70 time frame. A '72 should definitely have a flanged axle, and a TracLock if equipped with limited slip.

Absolutely positively a flanged axle 30 spline Dana 44 offset differential.

Standard ratio for V8 automatic was 3.31, optional 3.73.

I love how arguements end as soon as Ristow comments. Ristow is right...again.
