Playing the what if game here.
If my Scrambler does not sell for what I think it is worth (on the bay right now), I was debating swapping the Howell kit from it onto my J20. The Scrambler has an Edelbrock performer intake and the J20 a factory 2bbl. Is it worth the cost of the gaskets in effeciency or economy to switch the intakes? (I think the performer probably increase the value of the Scram. a little)
The I think about the heads, the Scram engine is a 71 with roller rockers and the J20 and stock 81. So again cost vs gain??
Just switching the TBI and carb is a couple base gaskets and some wiring/plumbing & O2 sensor bung, so that is just time so I think it is well worth it.
Also keep in mind that the 360 in the J20 is slated to be replace with a 401 in the next 6 months, but I need an intake and fuel delivery method for the 401 yet, so the Howell kit and performer could end up there if I keep both.
Thoughts comments??
Thanks!
